IEA TEAMS

Under Coach Lilly deSousa, the Stone Bridge Farm IEA teams competed for the first time during the 2008-2009 season. Both the Middle and High School teams qualified for National Finals, where Stone Bridge riders won National Champion Varsity Open Flat, and Reserve National Champion Novice Flat!
 
Stone Bridge teams have grown to include members from around Southwest Virginia, including Rockbridge, Bath and Bedford Counties, Roanoke, Salem, Lynchburg, Bedford, Botetourt, Fincastle and Lexington. The teams' mission is to achieve excellence in riding, horsemanship and showmanship; to demonstrate friendly, warm and sportsmanlike behavior at competitions; and to support each other as riders and individuals.  Our goal this year is to qualify both our High School and Middle School teams, as well as each individual rider, for Regional and National Finals, and we're well on our way!
